Mark Of The Beast

A decent effort but still falls flat...
When I was about halfway through MARK OF THE BEAST, I paused the movie for a moment to reflect; I was having a hard time deciding whether or not the filmmakers were trying to make a serious horror movie or a spoof. Yes, as much as it chagrins me to say, this film is simply not very good. I had high expectations, too, because I'm actually a fan of Kipling's works; and although the film follows the story very well, the execution is unfortunately lacking.

First off, I'll start by mentioning the good. The film has an amazing score that accents it perfectly. It is haunting and melodious at the same time, which in turn sets an ethereal mood, a perfect backdrop in which to tell this story.

Also, the adaptation of the original short story is almost perfect. The filmmakers definitely did their homework and studied the source material in-depth before they wrote the script. This is, however, a good thing and a bad thing. It is impressive because they didn't take too...

Horrible acting. The only reason I got this was to watch Ellen Muth. She is one beautiful woman who can act.... the only one in this film that can act.

Thank you for your fast shipping of this movie i like it but it is strange it is a zombie film and it a gang of folks getting drunk on new years eve thing about this one a man is attack by a zombie like man and he turns into one himself but it turns out ok.
