Just a heads-up--if you order SHAZAM! THE COMPLETE LIVE ACTION series from Amazon.com, you'll receive the version with the Cast Photo (the same photo appears on the Menus for all 3 discs). If you order the set from the Warner Archive website, you get the "Variant" Cover drawn by comics artist Jerry Ordway. Since this **IS** a "live action" series, I personally prefer the Cast Photo version over the comic book "Variant" Cover--but to each his own of course--BOTH Covers are great! Order SHAZAM! today--you won't regret it! This show is TREMENDOUSLY FUN. Picture & Sound quality is absolutely SUPERB--this series has never looked or sounded better! UPDATE: 11/25/12-The "Morals" that conclude each episode are included (most with horrendous picture quality)--but they are ONLY viewable when you use the Play All function). Also--its OOP (out-of-print) but several 3rd party sellers here on Amazon as well as on eBay are offering the "companion" TV series--THE SECRETS OF ISIS: THE COMPLETE...

...This show was part of my Saturday mornings, as a kid. Good, clean, positive fun. Nostalgic adults and kids can still enjoy this.

I received genuine silver back dvds, NOT dvd-r's
Just a heads up to let you know, i ordered directly from Warner Archive so that i could get the variant cover art and to my surprise I actually received real dvds!Don't know if it has to do with ordering directly from them or not, all the other titles in my order were purple dvd-r's. Still in hate with dvd-r's, because as a rule they are inferior, but what a nice surprise to not have to worry about it with one of my favorite shows from my childhood!:)
