Santa and the Three Bears
This version of the classic movie deletes the introduction and conclusion "live action" footage from the original Santa & The Three Bears. It's a great kids Christmas story, but leaves out the touching early seens with "Mr. Ranger" and his grandkids.

Wonderful story, very poor production...
Santa and the three Bears is my all time favorite animated feature that I treasure from childhood. No doubt, this is thee program that I must watch each and every Christmas season, and has become treasured by my children as well. In 1987 I taped this program that aired on television. The colors were deep, rich and clear. The sound was crisp. 19 years later, that tape is well loved (used), and although the tape still maintains those qualities; the tape is starting to show its age. Hence, the search for a commerically produced recording.

I searched and searched for a commerically produced recording, and found one in 2001. Unfortunatly, I could only find a VHS recording. No DVD's were to be found. The tape was good except the begining and the ending of the program that had consisted of real life actors (Mr. Ranger and his grand-daughter and grand-son) had been edited out. Classic Christmas Special
This is one of my all time favorite christmas movies. I had no idea why they stopped airing it, but kids everywhere are missing out. This movie made such a lasting impression on me that my husband and I named our dog Nakomi because I remembered the character.
